About This Site

I developed this site in order to show this magnificent park to people throughout the world and to share my impressions of the park via photographs and haiku poetry.

Ginko is a Japanese term for 'haiku walk' ... a walk where the haiku poet makes sketches or take photographs and writes haiku as a part of his or her journey through a special place or at a special time.

I'd like to thank Mike Rehling and Ray Rasmussen for their wonderful webpage design work, inspiration and friendship.
