HaikuHut's sole purpose is as a facilitator for the distribution of information regarding all Japanese forms of poetry. This includes tanka, renga, haiga, and haiku. Haiku is by far the most popular of the Japanese forms, and it has influenced many English poets.
We want to point the way to inquiring poets toward all Japanese forms. HaikuHut takes no position on the various definitions of form, and so we simply want everyone to find the information that is available in print and on the Internet, and make their own decision(s).
We accept input, and will happily listen to suggestions, and add other links as appropriate. Our goal is to provide a quiet site for the contemplation and dissemination of information on all Japanese forms.
